Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Fenthras helps you clean your inbox: scan your senders, unsubscribe and clean in bulk, and detect and block spoofed or phishing mail. This policy explains exactly what data we access, what we store, and what we never store. We treat your inbox as if it holds your bank statements, because it does.

What we access

When you connect a mailbox, we access message metadata: the sender, subject line, date, size, folder or labels, whether a message has attachments, and email authentication results (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). We connect through our email provider partner, Unipile, which handles the secure authorization with your email provider on our behalf.

What we store

We store message metadata only. We do not store the body or contents of your emails. When we need a message body briefly to analyze a suspected spoof or phishing attempt, we process it in memory and discard it immediately. We never keep it.

What we never do

  • We never store the contents of your email.
  • We never log your access tokens or credentials.
  • We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • We never take a destructive action without your explicit confirmation.

How we protect your data

Access tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest and decrypted only in memory when needed. All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted to your account through row level security. Every bulk delete, block, or unsubscribe is confirmed by you and recorded in an audit log.

Your controls

You can disconnect any mailbox at any time, which revokes our access. You can export your data, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

Third parties

We use Unipile to connect to email providers, Supabase to store your account and metadata, and Sentry for error monitoring. Payment processing is handled by Paystack and Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
